Nomination Requirements
Requirements for the nominee:
The individual must have worked for GSI in the field and gained his reputation while still in the field. The field" means all positions on a land or marine seismic party.
Certain individuals will be considered, who did not become legends in the field, but whose name and reputation was developed through personal contact with field people all over the world. People like the Late Bob Everett are included in this category. Requirements for submission:
- Name and email address of nominator
- Name of Nominee
- Nominee's whereabouts, address, email, or phone number if he is still living. (We will contact the subject to obtain his consent before considering him for the honor).
- A written account of specific exploits, adventures, events, that demonstrate the nominee's qualifications for the Hall of Fame.
- Self-praise is no praise, so if you reckon you're a legend and Hall of Fame material, you'll need to find someone to submit your name. Self-nominations will not be considered.
- Nominations should be in the form of an Email message or a letter, and addressed to any member of the committee. Any form of IBM compatible electronic text or word processor file is acceptable. Such accounts should be detailed and first hand wherever possible.
- Verbosity is preferred over brevity.
